Breastfeeding Counseling

• At hospital, home or in my home office
• 14 years experience (not an LC)
• Assisting with all breastfeeding techniques
• All breastfeeding difficulties can be managed and repaired
• When problems arise please call promptly, many are fixable with free telephone help only required.
• Hospital baby scale and breastpumps (if required)
• Ongoing support and education given to all clients

Doula Services

• Free initial consultation to discuss terms and packages required as well as meeting each other
• Minimum of 2 prenatal visits (one is entirely breastfeeding education)
• Balanced resources on a variety of topics to aid in "informed choice" decision-making
• Assistance in preparing a comprehensive Labour & Birth Plan
• Valuable skills for partner to actively participate in labour support and postpartum care. Doulas do not replace the father but compliment the couple.
• Unlimited telephone & email communication
• In-home and hospital labour, birth & breastfeeding support (Diana will assist you in your home during labour.)
• Minimum of 2-3 postpartum visits (24 hours post-in-hospital and upon arrival home from hospital)
• Prenatal & Birth prep workbook and reading

• Monthly support group meetings (Last Wed each month, Early Years Center on Jefferson Ave, 7-9 pm)
• One of Ontario’s largest support groups
• To encourage, promote and provide mother-to-mother support
• For women and their babies, an informal, guided discussion
• Telephone help is free of charge
